Hi there, I’m Marina!

I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before moving to the United States in 2011 to study at Yale University. Since graduating in 2015, I have worked in architecture and design roles across North America and Europe.

During my 5+ years in architecture, I worked on luxury hotels as well as offices for some of the world’s largest companies, but it was projects like designing a migration museum, or outlining strategies to make work places more inclusive, that sparked my love for solving human-centred design problems. It was then that I discovered the world of service design, and subsequently completed a Masters on the topic from the University of the Arts London.

After graduating, I joined the Government Digital Service, as part of the GOV.UK programme. I work in a team dedicated to doing foundational research into current and future users of GOV.UK, with a focus on using speculative design to anticipate the role of Government in the future.

My mind loves problem solving, whether that be understanding complex systems, designing for the nuanced needs of a user group, or figuring out tough spatial reasoning puzzles. I’m always up for a challenge!
